Provider Scheduler, Epic 1

The affiliate provider view of the WPO Provider Platform, built on TELUS CDS from the v2 boxes on the Provider Scheduler Ideation board. Nineteen screens, walkable end to end. Two independent design reviews have been run over it and their findings are applied.

Screens

Every screen carries the same shell: a collapsible left rail that remembers whether it is open, the three Home tabs, and the notification bell. Nothing here is a dead end. What each screen carries in full is in Screen Notes.

Dashboard

My Availability

The second section of the set, built from the My Availability V2 box (board section 172:1502). Reached from My Availability in the left rail on every screen. It is a schedule list plus a five-step wizard for creating one; the wizard walks forwards and backwards from any step.

Questions For Bryan

Everything the set needs an answer to, in one place. Each one is a decision rather than a build: none of them blocks the review, and each is a small change once it is settled. Two of them used to be stated on the screens themselves, in a voice aimed at you rather than at a provider; the screens now read as product copy and the question lives here.

Which schedule wins when two of them claim the same hour 316:375

Three schedules overlap on weekday afternoons in the sample. The warning above the list on screens 10 and 19, and the one above Publish on screen 18, name the clash and stop there. Writing a rule into them would answer your own question on your behalf. It needs settling before the booking side can be specified.

Are limits, buffers and booking options per schedule or per account 317:392

The schedule panel on screen 11 shows them per schedule and now says so plainly. If they belong to the account they should move out of the panel and into Preferences, with the panel linking to them, which is a different screen rather than a different sentence.

Copying one day's hours across other days

Setting Monday to Friday on the weekly hours screen means typing the same two times five times. Most schedulers offer a copy-to action on a day. The board does not draw one and nothing was invented; say whether it belongs and it is a control per day plus a small picker.

How wide is the object model, and what is each part called

A provider is dealing with schedules, session types, weekly hours, date-specific hours and time off, and the relationship between them is only ever stated in helper text. If there is a canonical set of nouns on the platform side, this section should use it. If there is not, this is the moment to fix one, because every screen in both sections repeats these words.

The fieldset is labelled Schedule Type and its two options are One-Time and Recurring, which is not a type of schedule but how often an entry repeats. Recurrence would be the honest label. It is left as drawn pending your call, because Schedule Type may be the platform's own word.

The publish state is already carried by a badge in words beside the name, which is what the crit asked for. The coloured left rule beside it is now a second signal for the same fact. Keeping both is harmless and keeping only the badge is cleaner; the rule is one line either way.

Step 2 has three tabs and step 3 does not know which you used

A provider can reach Capacity and Pacing having set hours on any one of Weekly Hours, Date-Specific or Calendar View, or on none of them. Nothing checks, and nothing summarises what step 2 produced before step 5. Whether the wizard should gate step 3 on some hours existing is a product rule rather than a layout question.

There is no way to ask for help inside My Availability

The dashboard closes with Get Help. The ten availability screens carry no support route at all, and this is the section where a provider is most likely to be stuck. Say where it should go and it is one link.

Names, dates, case numbers, availability, authorisation counts, contact details and message copy are illustrative sample data. Case numbers run on an invented 11804xx series, one per session; the board's sample number 123456 was replaced in the session drawers so a session carries the same number in the list and in the drawer. In My Availability the three schedule names, their hours, the draft, the session-type languages, the buffer and break lengths and the repeat options are sample data too; the two capacity caps, the four session types with their lengths, and the blocked window come from the board.
